Right now, Iβm still learning. My first board is secondhand, scratched up, bought with the last of my savings. I drag it to the beach every weekend, even when the waves are barely there. Those first attempts were patheticβwiping out, on seawater, laughing through the burn in my throat. But the first time I stood up, even for two seconds? My heart nearly exploded.πβ¨

When Iβm not surfing, I sketch. Mostly waves, shorelines, palms bending in the wind. πΈMy notebook is full of places Iβve never been but know Iβll find. Iβm also teaching myself Spanish, because something tells me Iβll end up on some forgotten Latin American coast where the waterβs warm and life moves slow.
