What really bothers me is the lack of authenticity. I deeply hate when I feel like people wear masks just to fit into what others expect, losing their essence along the way. Condescension generates immediate rejection in me; that way in which some assume that I do not have the ability to understand complex issues or make my own decisions just because of a prejudice.
